I was really kind of Upset yesterday when I got home from training Queen so I just didn't write in here. The training went well today and we didn't have to be that harsh with her. Yesterday we had to clip her hair and when the trainer was trying to do her feet she tried kicking. Well after several yanks on the halter and she was still acting up, they put a twitch on her nose. Which I hated and since I had to hold the twitch while he worked (I wanted to cry for her).. Then she still didn't really settle down. So he ended up putting a chain through the halter and over her gums in her mouth and pulled down hard to make her stop.. She did stop trying to kick after that. I held the chan while he hurried and did all four legs. We are going to wait to clip her ears when the Vet comes in and floats her teeth. That way she will be sedated but still know what we are doing.. After that I left her alone the rest of the day so she would have time to get over it. She did A LOT better today. No more painfull devices. I didn't like that we had to do that to her but like he said, "it's better to do that then get one of us killed by her being impatient and kicking".. I agree there. He's a compasionate trainer and loves horses and don't do that kind of stuff, unless the horse is doing something that would get someone seriously hurt or injured. I had my show at 6pm last night and got some new Photo's of me that I've posted. I've got some real bad Farmers arms going on so I'll have to tan or put some sunless tanner on..
